COVID-19
We will follow all guidelines and restrictions as they change. We must stick to these to keep our educators, parents/ guardians, babies and visitors safe.
What will we do to keep everyone safe?
· Clean all toys before and after each lesson
· Provide a mouthed toy bucket
· Wash any soft surfaces and toys in hot water daily
· Deep clean weekly
How can you help?
· Social distance by staying 1.5 meters apart
· Use hand sanitiser provided on entry
· Wash hands with soap and water after using the restroom or changing a soiled nappy
· Dispose of rubbish or soiled nappies in the bins provided
· Place any mouthed toys in the buckets provided
What happens if the educator tests positive to COVID-19:
All families will be notified straight away prior to their class. Families will have the option to arrange a make-up class in the same term providing space availability. Make-up classes must be arranged within 48 hours of being notified to ensure space availabilities. If you are unable to reserve a space for a make-up class within the 48 hour period, a refund for that class will be offered to those who contact the educator, non-contact within 48 hours will result in class payment being forfeited.
If you or baby has tested positive for COVID-19:
With notice to the educator and evidence prior to the class, a makeup class can be arranged in the same term providing space or a refund of that class.
Illness/ absences
With 24 hours’ notice a makeup class can be arranged providing space. Without notice a doctor certificate can be provided as evidence to be able to arrange a makeup class.
Allergies
In our classes we do provide some experiences which may contain know allergen foods. Please contact educator for more information.
Small/ loose parts
In our classes we provide small and loose parts as part of our risky play values. So please keep watch on what your child/ren are mouthing during the class.
Casual visits
You are not required to purchase a full-term session if this doesn’t suit you. We do provide casual Classes given the space provided and arranged prior to your visit. A casual visit will incur a fee which needs to be paid prior to visit. A waver also must be signed prior to visit.
Rainy days
We will provide our full 1 hour class as normal when raining unless unsafe to do so, which we will give notice to families about the class being cancelled prior. This will be up to yourself if you wish to participate or not. No make-up classes will be provided if you choose not to attend.
Public holidays
We will be closed all public holidays. If your class falls on a public holiday you are to arrange a make-up class no later than 48 hours prior to the public holiday, if spaces are available. Failure to do so you forfeit your class.
Waiver
Wavier forms will be emailed to all families prior to their first class. This will need to be signed and returned prior or at the beginning of your first class. This includes casual visits and our 10 week program classes.
Payments
10 week program:
A payment of $180.00 is required to be paid in full prior to commencing your first class. Failure to do so will forfeit your 10 week program spot/s until paid in full and may incur an extra fee.
Casual visits:
A payment of $25.00 is required in full prior to commencing your class. If payment is not received prior to your class, this may result in your spot/s being taken by other participants.
Failure to make payment
Failure to make payment to an invoice within the specific time is a breach under contract law. We will take the following steps to receive outstanding payment.
1. Resend a reminder of outstanding payment
2. Formal request to make payment, of outstanding amount
3. Issue to the email address provided, a letter of demand
4. Contract a debt collector service
5. File a debt dispute with the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT)
Change of mind/ cancellations
In accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL), we are not required to give a refund if you change your mind about the service. Therefore, you are still liable for remitting all outstanding fees. All families are recommended to attend a paid casual class prior to purchasing the 10 week program or multiple classes. In extreme circumstances, we reserve all rights and decision making whether to issue a refund of other forms of compensation.
In such circumstances, a refund will only be given if:
1. All classes are at full capacity
2. Reasonable notice has been given
3. The position can be filled imminently
4. We incur no loss
Social media
Seven senses use social media and digital marketing for advertising and business promotions. Photos, videos and other content are captured during our classes and may be shared on our public social media account. We are conscious of the photos, videos and other content we share on social media and respect all families and children’s choices. Please ensure you complete our media release form prior to or before you first class.
