COVID-19

We will follow all guidelines and restrictions as they change. We must stick to these to keep our educators, parents/ guardians, babies and visitors safe.

What will we do to keep everyone safe?

· Clean all toys before and after each lesson

· Provide a mouthed toy bucket

· Wash any soft surfaces and toys in hot water daily

· Deep clean weekly

How can you help?

· Social distance by staying 1.5 meters apart

· Use hand sanitiser provided on entry

· Wash hands with soap and water after using the restroom or changing a soiled nappy

· Dispose of rubbish or soiled nappies in the bins provided

· Place any mouthed toys in the buckets provided

What happens if the educator tests positive to COVID-19:

All families will be notified straight away prior to their class. Families will have the option to arrange a make-up class in the same term providing space availability. Make-up classes must be arranged within 48 hours of being notified to ensure space availabilities. If you are unable to reserve a space for a make-up class within the 48 hour period, a refund for that class will be offered to those who contact the educator, non-contact within 48 hours will result in class payment being forfeited.

If you or baby has tested positive for COVID-19:

With notice to the educator and evidence prior to the class, a makeup class can be arranged in the same term providing space or a refund of that class.

Illness/ absences

With 24 hours’ notice a makeup class can be arranged providing space. Without notice a doctor certificate can be provided as evidence to be able to arrange a makeup class.

Allergies

In our classes we do provide some experiences which may contain know allergen foods. Please contact educator for more information.

Small/ loose parts

In our classes we provide small and loose parts as part of our risky play values. So please keep watch on what your child/ren are mouthing during the class.

Casual visits

You are not required to purchase a full-term session if this doesn’t suit you. We do provide casual Classes given the space provided and arranged prior to your visit. A casual visit will incur a fee which needs to be paid prior to visit. A waver also must be signed prior to visit.

Rainy days

We will provide our full 1 hour class as normal when raining unless unsafe to do so, which we will give notice to families about the class being cancelled prior. This will be up to yourself if you wish to participate or not. No make-up classes will be provided if you choose not to attend.

Public holidays

We will be closed all public holidays. If your class falls on a public holiday you are to arrange a make-up class no later than 48 hours prior to the public holiday, if spaces are available. Failure to do so you forfeit your class.

Waiver

Wavier forms will be emailed to all families prior to their first class. This will need to be signed and returned prior or at the beginning of your first class. This includes casual visits and our 10 week program classes.

Payments

10 week program:

A payment of $180.00 is required to be paid in full prior to commencing your first class. Failure to do so will forfeit your 10 week program spot/s until paid in full and may incur an extra fee.

Casual visits:

A payment of $25.00 is required in full prior to commencing your class. If payment is not received prior to your class, this may result in your spot/s being taken by other participants.

Failure to make payment

Failure to make payment to an invoice within the specific time is a breach under contract law. We will take the following steps to receive outstanding payment.

1. Resend a reminder of outstanding payment

2. Formal request to make payment, of outstanding amount

3. Issue to the email address provided, a letter of demand

4. Contract a debt collector service

5. File a debt dispute with the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT)

Change of mind/ cancellations

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL), we are not required to give a refund if you change your mind about the service. Therefore, you are still liable for remitting all outstanding fees. All families are recommended to attend a paid casual class prior to purchasing the 10 week program or multiple classes. In extreme circumstances, we reserve all rights and decision making whether to issue a refund of other forms of compensation.

In such circumstances, a refund will only be given if:

1. All classes are at full capacity

2. Reasonable notice has been given

3. The position can be filled imminently

4. We incur no loss

Social media

Seven senses use social media and digital marketing for advertising and business promotions. Photos, videos and other content are captured during our classes and may be shared on our public social media account. We are conscious of the photos, videos and other content we share on social media and respect all families and children’s choices. Please ensure you complete our media

Halloween Messy Play – Terms & Conditions
Thank you for booking with Seven Senses Messy Classes! We're looking forward to a spooktacular morning of sensory exploration, creativity and messy fun!

Please read the following Terms & Conditions before purchasing your tickets.

1. Bookings & Payments
All tickets must be purchased online through our official website: www.sevensensesmessyclasses.com.au.
Tickets are $18 per child, with sibling discounts available as advertised on the booking website.
Children must have a valid ticket to participate in the session.
Bookings are subject to availability, and spaces are limited.
Please ensure you select the correct number of tickets when booking.

2. Minimum Numbers & Event Confirmation
A minimum number of tickets must be sold for the event to proceed.
If the minimum booking requirement is not met, Seven Senses Messy Classes reserves the right to cancel the event.
If the event is cancelled by the organiser due to insufficient ticket sales, all ticket holders will be notified and offered a full refund for tickets purchased.
Please ensure your contact details are correct when booking so we can contact you with any important updates.

3. Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers
If you can no longer attend, please contact Seven Senses Messy Classes as soon as possible.
Refunds for change of mind, illness or inability to attend are not guaranteed.
Ticket transfers to another family may be considered upon request, subject to approval by the organiser.
If Seven Senses Messy Classes needs to cancel the event for reasons other than insufficient ticket sales, ticket holders will be notified of the available refund or rescheduling options.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

4. Parent & Guardian Supervision
A parent or responsible adult must remain with their child for the entire session.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
Please follow the instructions provided by the facilitator to help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Children must not be left unattended during the event.

5. Messy Play & Sensory Activities
Messy play is designed to encourage exploration, creativity and sensory development.
Activities may involve water, paint, slime, food-based sensory materials and other messy play resources.
While every effort is made to use child-appropriate materials, children may have different sensitivities or allergies.
Parents and guardians must notify the organiser of any known allergies, sensitivities or relevant medical concerns before the session.
Children should be supervised closely to discourage the tasting or eating of materials not intended for consumption.
Participation in activities is voluntary, and children are welcome to explore at their own pace.

Slippery Flooring & Safety Notice
During our messy play sessions, floors may become slippery due to water, food, and other sensory materials used throughout the activities. Spills and scattered materials are a natural part of sensory play and may create slip hazards.
By participating in this session, you acknowledge that:
• Floors may become wet, slippery, or messy during activities.
• Children and supervising adults must take care when moving around the play area.
• Please walk at all times and avoid running.
• Children should be supervised by their responsible adult throughout the session.
• Please notify the Seven Senses Messy Classes team of any significant spills or hazards that require attention.

6. Allergy Information
While reasonable precautions will be taken, the organiser cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment.

7. Clothing & Personal Belongings
Messy play can get messy! Please dress your child in clothing suitable for paint, water and sensory materials.
We recommend bringing a change of clothes and a towel.
Halloween costumes are encouraged but are optional.
Please avoid clothing, accessories or costume pieces that may create a choking, tripping or other safety hazard.
Seven Senses Messy Classes is not responsible for lost, damaged or stained personal belongings.

8. Photography & Social Media
Photographs may be taken during the session for promotional purposes.
Separate permission will be sought before identifiable photographs of children are used for marketing or social media.
Please respect the privacy of other families when taking your own photographs and videos.
Do not photograph or share images of other children without their parent or guardian's permission.

9. Safety & Behaviour
Children are encouraged to explore freely within the activity areas while following safety instructions.
Parents and guardians must ensure their children use the equipment and materials appropriately.
The facilitator may modify or stop an activity if it presents a safety concern.
If a child becomes distressed or needs a break, they are welcome to step away from an activity with their supervising adult.

10. Arrival & Session Times
Event: Halloween Messy Play
Date: Sunday, 25 October 2026
Time: 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Location: Flagstone Community Hub, 51 Parklands Drive, Flagstone, Queensland.

Please arrive a few minutes before the session begins to allow time to settle in.
The session will commence and finish at the advertised times.
Late arrivals will not be entitled to an extension of the session or a refund for missed time.

11. Changes to the Event
Seven Senses Messy Classes reserves the right to make reasonable changes to activities, materials or event arrangements where necessary.
If unforeseen circumstances affect the event, families will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
Any cancellation or rescheduling will be communicated using the contact details supplied during booking.

12. Participation & Responsibility
Participation in messy play activities is voluntary.
Parents and guardians acknowledge that sensory play involves ordinary risks associated with hands-on activities, including slips, spills and contact with play materials.
The organiser will take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment and manage foreseeable risks.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
